The Old School House is also a Training Academy ie The Old School House Training Academy and is an accredited CACHE (Council for Awards in Care, Health and Education) Training Centre. CACHE is UK’s only specialist awarding organisation for the children, adult and health care sectors with a portfolio of qualifications ranging from Entry to Level 5. As a CACHE Accredited Training Centre we offer NVQ Diplomas in

Childcare and Education, Playworkers, Management Training, Paediatric 1st Aid, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene to our own employees and externally.

Through CACHE and other training bodies we offer a wide range of training and development opportunities and continually improve our service by offering constant support to our employees.

Childcare Apprentice – A great opportunity to earn while you learn, undertake a full time training apprenticeship with us. NVQ 2 and NVQ3 in Childcare offered.

Nursery Nurse/ Early Years Practioner (Maternity Cover) - Full time post Initially to cover maternity leave but may lead to a permanent position.

Early Years Teacher - Full time post, working with children due to start school in Sept 15, Applications welcome from NQT's as full mentoring can be given.

EXTERNAL PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID TRAINING DATES

The Old School House Training Academy offers a CACHE Accredited Paediatric First Aid Course

A two day course with a 3 year certification in Paediatric First Aid covering all statutory aspects.
Includes additional refresher material specific to nursery staff
Next Course Friday……… and Monday………at The Old School House Nursery School, Benty Lane, Crosspool.
Courses may be scheduled to accommodate individual requirements and businesses’ operational needs including weekends.
Minimum 6 attendees, maximum 12.
